To resolve: 1. Login to the instance. 2. Navigate to the "System Definition > Modules" 3. In the filter fields, look for the 'cmdb_sam_sw_install" from the Table field. 4. Open the "Software Installations" module record which is associated with "Software Asset" Application Menu. 5. Click on 'Active' (to make to true) under the 'Visibility' tab. 6. Click Update 7. Check the "Software Installations" module and it should be visible under "Software Asset > Discovery". Additional Information The "Software Installations" module is inactive in Kingston instances. This has been confirmed this in the "Out-Of-The-Box" instances and found the same behavior where the "Software Installations" module / menu is not visible under the "Software Asset > Discovery" menu. This looks like related to the migration of the Legacy Software Asset Management to the Software Asset Management Professional application. Verified in the Jakarta "Out-Of-The-Box" instance where the "Software Installations" module is visible but still part of the Legacy Software Asset Management package "SAM Premium Core [com.snc.samp.core]" Verified in the London "Out-Of-The-Box" instance where the "Software Installations" module is visible and now part of the package Software Asset Management Core [com.snc.sam.core].
