How to have records opened from global search results open in Default view instead of Text Search view Issue  Description Starting with the Jakarta release, when you open a record from global search results, the record will open in Text Search view. This article describes how to change this behavior so that records opened from global search results will open in the Default view instead.

Procedure As a user with the admin role, go to System Properties > Global Text Search. Find the property named List and form view to use for Global Text Search results. Blank means default view. Remove the text_search value. Leave the field blank without any spaces. Click Save at the bottom of the Global Text Search properties. Applicable Versions Jakarta and higher.
