Editing MetricBase dataset shows spurious error message Description If you edit report structure and edit a MetricBase dataset saved with the report, an error message is displayed and the dataset results are not initially displayed.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to Report Designer from list view of a table that includes MetricBase time series metrics. 2. Save the report. 3. Click the graph icon to edit report structure. 4. Choose another table with time series metrics to do a stacked chart. 5. Save the dataset. 6. On the original report, click the graph icon to edit the recently saved dataset.

Note an error message that no metric is selected even though the dataset was configured properly. Ignoring the error and clicking Next enables you to proceed with editing the dataset without errors.

Workaround Reload the report. The error message will not display any more.
