Unable to create access control for ui page in a scoped application Issue  Symptoms When trying to create access control for a ui_page. The following error message appears:

"name can only contain alphanumeric characters, underscores or dollar signs"

Release All releases

Cause This issue happens when there are spaces between the UI page name.

Resolution In order to resolve this issue, your UI page needs to have no spaces between. Instead, you can use underscores instead of a space.

For example, the UI page name is: "test ui page"

You will need to change this to "test_ui_page"

After making this change to the UI page name. You will be able to create a UI page access control record in a scoped application.

Adding underscores to the UI page name and access control record resolves the issue
