In List V3, the Cell Edit Window for a Reference Field does not allow contains searches using * Description In List V3, the Cell Edit Window for a Reference Field appears to be lacking the utility of using an asterisk (*) to fetch records. This behavior is different from List V2, which still allows contains searches in this cell edit window.

Steps to Reproduce

Make sure that the List V3 plugin active and enabled.

Navigate to any list, for example, incident.list.

Double-click on a reference cell to edit, for example, caller.

Try using a contains search, for example, *tut.

Instead of finding the user "abel tuter" in the autocomplete drop-down list, no results are returned.

Workaround Use List V2.
