When you add comments to the record and save again, another duplicate workflow (the same) runs, and continues for every record save Issue

When we create an incident and set State to On Hold and Reason to Awaiting Caller , the workflow is triggered. When you add comments to the record and save again, another duplicate workflow (the same) runs, and continues for every record save.

Desired Behavior : Only one workflow should run

Unexpected/Actual Behavior : New workflow gets attached on every record update

Cause There is a checkbox on workflow properties: " Run multiple " which has been set to true and is causing the workflow to run multiple times.

Resolution To locate the property: Go to the workflow: Incident On Hold-Awaiting Caller Check out the workflow Open workflow properties Under the General tab, there is a checkbox: Run Multiple Uncheck this checkbox and save. This resolves the issue and workflow just runs once.
