Creating bulk tasks on one Request ItemIssue Below are the steps to create bulk Tasks off of one Request Item.ResolutionThe most simple way to accomplish this is through an Execution Plan and Execution Plan Tasks. Here is a brief summary of how to accomplish this: Create the Execution Plan the user will use in their Catalog Item when ordering In the left navigator, search, "Execution Plans" - click on thatClick "New" and add in the details the user desiresPress "Submit"Now, locate the Execution Plan the user just created. An easy way is to search for it by name.Once within the Execution Plan, in the "Execution Plan Tasks" tab, click "New"This is where the user will begin to populate all of their bulk tasks. Enter in the necessary information, including the name, what assignment group will handle this task, and who the task will be assigned to, etc.Rinse and repeat this process for all of the users bulk tasks. Next, create the Catalog Item which be will used to "fire" or start the users Execution Plan (with all of its subsequent tasks). In the left navigator, type "Maintain Items" - click on thatClick "New" and add in any necessary details. Be sure to fill in the "Execution Plan" field with the name of the Execution Plan the user just created! This forms the relationship between ordering this Catalog Item and the Execution Plan firing successfully!Once the user has filled everything in, go ahead and, in the top right corner, click "Try It"Then, click "Order Now"Click into the REQ that was generatedClick into the RITM that was generatedSee all of the user's Tasks which were within the user's Execution Plan.
