Function fields are not available on SOAP Web Services - Known Error

Function fields are not available on SOAP Web Services Description ServiceNow Function fields are a new Now Platform feature in the Kingston release to perform common database transformations and calculations. However, function fields are not available on SOAP Web Services at this time.

Steps to Reproduce

Create a function field in a table 2. Call getRecords() function using a SOAP direct web service 3. Check that the new function field is not in the SOAP response

If you check the WSDL, the field should be in the XSD data types of several responses, but it is not there.

Workaround Function fields are not yet supported by SOAP in the current releases. Please use REST API calls instead, or other integration points.
