The following message occurs: "The CI record cannot be deleted unless the associated virtual machine is terminated" Solution The error message is generated due to the business rule "Prevent deleting of non-terminated VM" restricting the deletion of the CI in the cmdb_ci_vm_instance table. https:// /nav_to.do?uri=sys_script.do?sys_id=09aa6621d5911000c186135ceeb83897 You can temporary disable the business rule in order to delete the CI in the cmdb_ci_vm_instance table by unchecking the Active check box.
