java.sql.BatchUpdateException: Duplicate entry ' ' for key 'PRIMARY' Error when creating a hr_case using a specific record producer (in either Service Portal or UI) Issue  java.sql.BatchUpdateException: Duplicate entry ' ' for key 'PRIMARY' Error when creating an hr_case using a specific record producer (in either Service Portal or UI). Steps to Reproduce: Log in to the instance. Navigate to Service Catalog > Record Producers and search for the record producer. Click the Try It UI action in the header. Fill out mandatory fields and click Submit. - Desired Behavior: The record is created with no errors.

- Unexpected/Actual Behavior: java.sql.BatchUpdateException: Duplicate entry ' ' for key 'PRIMARY' error displays in header when record is created

Cause current.update (); in one of the Workflow Activity's script.

Resolution Navigate to Workflow > Workflow Editor, select the workflow. Checkout the workflow and in the first "run script" of the workflow. Remove " current.update(); " Save and then publish the workflow.
