Autocomplete on reference fields does not work when typing double byte characters as for example in Japanese Description Autocomplete for reference fields does not work with Chinese and Japanese languages, due to the double byte characters to be typed.

Steps to Reproduce

1) Activate the Japanese language plugin. 2) Create a new sys_user with ID and First Name as "てすと". 3) Create a new incident. 4) Change MAC language to "Hiragana". 5) In caller field type in "tesuto", hit space, and select "てすと". Notice no autocomplete occurs. Workaround After carefully considering the severity and frequency of the issue, and the cost and risk of attempting a fix, it has been decided to not address this issue in any current or near future releases. We do not make these decisions lightly, and we apologize for any inconvenience. As a workaround, hit space, then backspace. The autocomplete will work. Copy and paste will also work, just not when typing.
