NOW-EDGE-REQUEST_TIMEOUT Severity ERROR Root Cause The mass encryption process on a particular record exceeded the time duration set for the operation.

A timeout exception is thrown by the Edge Encryption proxy server.

Effect The proxy server will continue to run without any interruption of service. However, the chunk that contained the failed record will be marked as a failure. The Edge Encryption proxy server will continue to process the other chunks. Corrective Action

Go to edgeencryption.properties and increase the timeout value for the following property:

edgeencryption.attachments.request.timeout.seconds
