List v3: Editing Date fields in list edit mode with a date format set to a different setting than the system date format saves in an invalid date valueDescriptionIn List v3, if a date format is configured to a different setting than the system date format property for the instance, Date fields of the data type Date do not save their values correctly using list edit. Similarly, if the same date format is configured as the system date format and a date is saved where day is greater than > 12, in list edit mode, the date result is “Invalid date” and cannot be edited.Steps to Reproduce Scenario 1: Different date format in user profile compared to system format. Activate the List V3 plugin. For more information, see the product documentation topic Activate List v3. Enable List v3 for related lists. For more information, see the product documentation topic Enable List v3 for related lists. Impersonate a user who has access to an existing field of the type Date, for example, the alm_hardware.warranty expiration field. Make sure that the system date format property is different than user profile date. Go to list mode for alm_hardware and change the date of the warranty expiration field, then click Save. Note that the date is saved to an invalid value, for example, instead of 2017-04-15, it appears as 01-04-0180. Scenario 2: Same date format for user profile and system date format with day greater than 12. Make sure the system date format property is the same as the user profile date format, for example, DD-MM-YYYY. Go to list mode for alm_hardware and change the date of the warranty expiration field to one where the day is greater than 12, for example, 25-10-2016. Click Save. Click on the same field to edit the date again. Note that it says "Invalid date" and the date picker does not work to select the date again. WorkaroundThis issue is under review.
