Service Portal Ticket Form widget does not display Send Message comments box to users with no roles for Request ItemsDescriptionThe Service Portal's ticket form widget displays a Send Message box so that end users can send messages related to the task. This Send Message box is available to a user with no roles on the Incident side, however, on the Request side the box does not display for Requests or Request Items.Steps to Reproduce Login to the instance as a no role user.Navigate to Service Portal.Create a new request by ordering something from the Service Portal.Create a new incident using the Create a New Incident out of box record producer.From Service Portal, go to Requests then select the Incident that was just created. This opens the out of box Ticket Form widget. Observe there is a 'Type your message here...' input box with the Send UI Action.Go to the new Request created. Observe the same input box is missing from the Request/Request Item Ticket form widget.Impersonate an ITIL user and open the same Ticket form for Request/Request Item. The 'Type your message here...' input box with the Send UI Action is displayed.WorkaroundThis has been recognized as a future product enhancement, since the intended behaviour is to provide ACLs necessary to write on specific fields at the request level (sc_request table). To allow ESS users to write to the comments field via an ACL: Create a role.Create a write ACL on the table with the Comments field specified and a "Requires Role" of the new role.Associate the role to the ESS users.Related Problem: PRB719337
