Variable columns do not show on List Report when selected table is a Database View Description Unable to add Variables to a report if it is a dot-walked field.

Steps to Reproduce

Create a report on the sc_task table or database view sc_task_sla.

From the Available list, find Request Item [+], and expand it to dot-walk to sc_req_item.

Find Variables [+] and expand it.

In the pop-up window, select any variables from the list and add it to the selected list.

Run the report.

The selected variables do not show in the report columns.

Create a report on sc_req_item, and perform same actions.

Variables show up correctly in the report column.

Workaround In all current releases it is not possible to report on variables through a database view, this is working as designed. The only option is to report against the table that contains the variables directly.
