Unlocking a Now Support user


Now Support accounts are automatically locked after five consecutive unsuccessful login attempts within a 24-hour period or if the user does not log in to Now Support for the following number of days:

If a user is locked out for any of these reasons, customer administrators can unlock a user.

How to unlock a user

  1. Navigate to the Now Support portal
  2. Navigate to the Manage Accounts from the top menu.
  3. The list of users shows an indicator in front of an user who is locked out.
  4. For all the users who are locked out, open the Actions menu and select the option "Unlock User"
  5. User's status gets updated from "Locked out" to "Normal" immediately

  6. Other way to unlock an user will be by visiting user's profile and clicking on "Unlock user" button
